Visiting this website
When you open this website, the server that delivers it processes the technical data your browser sends: IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, and browser and device information. We need this data to deliver the website and to keep it secure, for example to detect misuse. The website is delivered through a content delivery network that processes connection data for the same purpose. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Cookies and similar technologies
We only use cookies and similar technologies that are not strictly necessary if you agree. On your first visit, a banner asks for your choice. You can change or withdraw it at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page; a withdrawal does not affect processing that took place before it. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 22(2) of the Spanish Information Society Services Act, LSSI-CE).
Necessary: your choice is stored in your browser’s local storage under “crystals-consent” so that we don’t ask again on every page. The entry contains only your selection and its date and expires after 12 months. No cookie is set for this, and the entry is not sent to us.
Statistics — Google Analytics 4: with your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, to understand how our website is used, for example which pages are visited. Google Analytics sets the cookie _ga and a cookie beginning with _ga_, each stored for up to 2 years. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA, which is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Marketing — Meta Pixel: with your consent, we use the Meta Pixel by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland, to measure the results of our ads on Instagram and Facebook and to show them to people who have visited our website. The Meta Pixel sets the cookie _fbp and, after a click on one of our ads, _fbc, each stored for up to 3 months. We and Meta are jointly responsible for collecting and transmitting this data (Art. 26 GDPR); Meta alone is responsible for its further processing. Data may be transferred to Meta Platforms, Inc. in the USA, which is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Marketing — Google Ads: with your consent, we use Google Ads by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, to measure which of our ads lead to table requests (conversion tracking) and to show our ads to people who have visited our website (remarketing). Google Ads sets the cookie _gcl_au and, after a click on one of our ads, _gcl_aw, each stored for up to 3 months; Google may also use its own cookies on its domains, such as doubleclick.net. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA, which is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Booking requests
If you send a booking request, we process the details you enter — first and last name, email address, phone number with country code, number of guests, date, time and your message — to handle your reservation and to contact you by WhatsApp or email to confirm it. The request reaches us by email through an email service provider. The legal basis is the handling of your request before a booking (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We keep your details for as long as we need them for your booking and as required by law.
If you have agreed to statistics or marketing, we report to those services only that a table request was sent — never the details you entered.
The request also tells us where it came from: the page you first opened, the website that linked you here, and any campaign parameters in the address (for example from a Google or Meta ad). We use this only to see which channels bring bookings, it stays in the email to us, and it is not passed on. If you have agreed to statistics or marketing, we keep these details in your browser’s session storage until you close the tab; without your agreement nothing is stored on your device and the email simply names the page you sent the form from.
To protect the form against abuse, the number of requests per IP address is limited for a short time. This information is kept in memory only and is not stored.
Contact by WhatsApp, phone or email
If you contact us via WhatsApp, phone or email, we process the information you share with us to answer your enquiry. WhatsApp is operated by Meta; its own privacy policy applies to messages sent through it.
Links to other services
Our pages link to Google Maps, Instagram, Facebook and Tripadvisor. These services only receive data when you follow a link and open their pages; their own privacy policies apply.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing and to data portability. To exercise your rights, write to [email protected]. You can also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, www.aepd.es).
